Wagner Inlet Install Questions

For those that have already installed a Reverse IM

a) Where did you ground the wires that were on side of the OEM inlet?

b) What core wire did you use to extend the various connectors?

c) What size hose is the it from the carbon cannister to the IM? Is it 8mm?

d) What size are the default tap size for vac nipples?

A friend of mine got me the IM on a good price so i will be probably using it on my next big upgrade!

mine came fully tapped. i used a rocker cover bolt ot earth one and i think the corner inlet for the other. wire was extended using a spare megasquirt loom i had.

have a good check of the uinjector bores for rough edges etc.

i am yet to mod the cruise to fit if thats your next q

a) Ground Wires with 8mm on the lower outisde bolt for the IM, 6mm Ground Wire goes on the 6mm Bolt of the 3b Distributor Cap

b) 1.5

C) 8mm

d) M6

Been working on mine this evening also.

Just one question - the kit comes with a step-up hose to fit onto the intercooler inlet, im assuming ill need to cut back the samco and clamp a bit of tubing between the samco and new hose bit?

1/what happens to the dipstick tube bolt? that will mount to the ISV Valve Tube, only on ABY and ADU, 3B doenst need it



2/does the pcv valve go to the manifold?or can i remove it? no that goes to the Manifold, it will be mounted to the Same Tube like on the picture above


3/will i get any errors not using carbon cannister? No, errors, but our Manifold has the connector for the Carbon cannister...

@Sonic, you are rigth, its just a Universal Part, because the most Guys are using different Turbos, its hard to make a Hose that will fit all

thanks carsten....does the isv tube pictured come with the manifold or kit?my manifold has no hole for this to be fastened to!!
