  • Audi Coupe Quattro 2.7T

    Hello!

My name is Nolbelt Fi z il.
I am living in Hungary, Budapest, working for SRS Motorsport and VEMS and i am studying to be an electrical engineer. This is enough from me
I bought an Audi Coupe Quattro for a daily drive car. It doesn't have an engine and gearbox. Tha car is being built yet.

Some information from the car and my plan :
    - 2.7T (ARE)30V engine
    - 980ccm Siemens deka injectors,
    - 044 Bosch fuel pump, laters i need a Walbro ethanol pump.
    - 2pcs T25, Mitshubishi TD04HL-15T turbocharger. It's enough up to 280-300HP*2 ;-) (edited)
    - Custom made exhaust manifold.
    - VEMS ECU:
    Dual WBO
    Dual EGT
    Electronic throttle controll
Flex fuel sensor for Ethanol. It can controll simultaneously the Ignition advance,Fuel amount, boost pressure. With this I don't need a programm switch (E85/gasoline) and i can mixing the ethanol with gasoline anytime.
    - Clutch pedal switch for Launch controll and (when the car moving) Flat-shift controll.
    - Custom made engine harness whith a quick connector on the firewall, and relay-fuse panel.
    - RS4 clutch with sinter plate. It's enough about 700Nm.
    - UrS4 6speed gearbox, CBL code.
    - 4 piston Brembo brake from Alfa 166.
    - 5 bolt wheel hub from V8/Urs4

The pictures and information will be refreshed continously

Looks like interesing project but why are you aiming for only 280-300 HP?? Isn´t that too much work (engine swap, wiring, turbos etc.) for this power level?

      A piece knows 300 :-) There are 2pcs :-)
This turbo a little bit bigger than a K04.

                  Subscribed!

If Norbitron's car builds are like his harnesses, this is going to be solid for sure.

Yesterday i bought the second TD04 turbo. The first is still in my 80 1.8T.
                      A little compare with the stock 2.7T turbos. from left to right: TD04-15, RS4 K04, S4 K03.
                      The K04 inducer 40mm, TD04-15 42mm.
At this week we will make the engine mount. And if i get the exhaust and turbo flanges we start to make the manifold.
