v8 coupe project

picked up the engine with the help of BRY and Russ on saturday,

sort of put it in place yesterday and it nearly fits!!

battery tray and abs pump are going to have to go as they are in the way

engine mountings look like there going to meet up? which means i wont have to fabricate new ones

ecu needs decoding as i dont have the key fob and may need some parts disabling where the tiptronic gear box stuff plugs in other wise it may throw up a fault

I think somebody in the States may be doing the same project...

I'd check motogeek.com in their projects forum. As for the motormounts, the owner on motorgeek had to fab engine mounts for his project.

ignore the 3.7 bit on the cover, it was the only one they had, im trying to find a 4.2 one with the coil pack cover on the bay of theives

Take the left hand side ex manifold and put it on the rhs and the right hand side ex manifold and put it on the lhs and you have a flanged area for mounting the turbo's to.

Or just buy 034 pre done ones.
