Towbar for coupe?

Needed asap so I can tow my bike to Cornwall for the holidays, beg, borrow or steal

Sal says the rear subframe on the 90 Quattro Sport is the same as a Coupe and he took one of my 90s last night with towbar intact to keep him busy for a bit. (7a cams at Sals everybody)
I don't know for certain it will fit, but its worth a try.
Let me know if it does as the other 90 has one.

I posted about this a while ago, didnt even get one response... can someone tell me if and when they find out if the one off a 90 fits?

Sal will be best able to tell you if it fits and he is breaking that one.

I fitted one to my coupe last year. I got one from watling in the end, was the only company that did them at a reasonable price. dont think the 90 fits because of the way it bolts up.

I had a fitting guide for it as pdf but cant find it now

dont know if its the same but on the 90 it goes on the boot well and behind the bumper.saw one on a 90 in the scraper.

the 90 is a PAU17 & the coupe S2 is a PAU19

I have a genuine VAG S2 tow bar, with detachable ball. I can't find the ball, you're welcome to it if you can find a ball, or you're desperate!

Not a problem newsh, quite heavy though! I'll get it off the car by Tuesday. I'm going to be in SE London by Weds or Thurs, perhaps we could meet somewhere in between? Will make things a lot easier.

Delta, what does the bar look like, can you post or email me a pic? Does the ball part go upwards into the main part of the bar? A mate has this type of bar on his 200 and I may be able to borrow the ball..
