Front brakes: 345mm disc from Mercedes AMG with 4 piston Wilwood caliper.
Rear brakes: 312mm disc from Audi A4 with 4 piston Wilwood caliper.

Looking good and the wheels suit the car.

Do you have any side on shots or front/side shots and any shots of your rollcage?

Cheers for the writeup, seems like a beast! Explains why the 'ring laps you'd posted yesterday were a littel faster than a standard car! I'd say that my coupe is capable of a 9m BTG on a clear track.

Looks mean on those wheels and nice and low, are you running road or track tyres?

How do you find the H&R coilovers? What spring rates did you go for?

What sort of power & torque is it running on the T04 setup? Is it laggy at all?

Please can you post some shots of the interior too Interested in the cage

Thanks I think they look good, and they are light as well. (19,6kg 18" x 8", with 225/40-18 Toyo R888)

You can get the roll cage with different options. From a simpel rollbar to full rollcage.

mine is with these options:

- Roll Cage in St 52 steel and 45 x 2,5 main bars with paint
- Lateral protection
- H-strut
- Cross instead of diagonal strut
- In addition I have welded in a pipe in the main bar for the seat belts.

It was 4 weeks delivery time when I ordered mine. (Remember to inform if you have sun roof and back seats or not.

It is not exactly standard anymore...

As I mentioned in the last post I run Toyo R888 tires. I bougth the coilovers through a friend that have some some good contacts. I dont remember the actual spring rates, but I can provide spring part no (and full kit no) I think they are based on the standard H&R kit for S2 Coupe, but with aproximatly 40% stiffer springs.

I am quite satisfied with the T04 setup, and I dont think it is too laggy. I am currently using a small exhaust housing (0,50 a/r) and togheter with the 6 speed tranny it works well. But the turbo is not the ideal turbo for my setup, I bougth it because I have an upgrade in the back of my head
The compressor side is capable of 550+ hp and I am now in the 400+ somewhere. (stock bottom end)

I also think that the 'netics turbos are very robust and can handle a lot of beating. In the video in my signature a had a big boost leakage and still the turbo survived several laps around the ring.

G-tech measurment done with my old 01A 5 speed tranny and 1,5 bar boost in 3. gear
I think 350 Wheel hp is on the limit, or a bit over, what the stock bottom end can handle

Here is the hose that I discovered right after the 8.43 lap

Be careful with the bottom end on a 3B with 400bhp

That's a nice little leak you got yourself!

The website gives lots of options to think about. I think I'd go for a half cage (roll bar) so that I wasn't worried about headbutting a cage all the time (sunroof makes things rather tight anyway) but who knows. Full cage requires some proper seats to be fitted over and above the Recaro Speed...

Thanks for sharing this with us Magarv. What colour is your car? It looks good.
Hopefully we'll meet at the Nordschleife sometime. I wouldn't mind a pax lap in that.
Thanks for the pictures of the roll cage too. I'd be interested in seeing a boot shot too. I'm pretty close to putting a cage in mine, but I'm not sure what it would be like to live with every day. I would love to sort out the bendiness of the Coupé chassis though.

I know 400+ hp it is on the limit and past
But I also think that it is ignition failures/missfires that is the biggest cause to "banana" rods... In my opinion you can minimize the risk with a proper map and good ignition system. I have driven 25000km with this setup and the bottom has done 240 000km
I think it holds togheter because of the good map and the MSD ignition system that keeps missfires and "spark hoops" to a minimum. (and in addition correct "narrow" rotor and good ignition wires)

Anyway I am not to worried, I have a few "spareparts" laying around

New block, washed, painted, machined and ready for assembly:

New head, machined and overhauled and some parts for a proper intake manifold:
