I have an indicator stalk with cruise control buttons on it. I think it's from a 3b.
I took the assembly to bits this afternoon to put the stalk on my RS2.
Turns out it won't fit..the pivot point where the stalk seats into the housing is inverted in the RS2...
Any BTDT?
What can I do?
Thanks,
JB

But one more thing, I have 2 switches, one for the brake pedal and one for the clutch pedal...
But there's no hole in my clutch pedal bracket to mount the switch...
Will leaving out this switch mess up the electrics?

Do you mean the side of the pedal, or the side of the bracket?
There is a cut-out in the side of the bracket, but it's not in line with the clutch pedal, so the switch would never be pushed...
Perhaps I should take a picture...

This diagram shows the switch attaching much higher up...
In that hole I have what looks like a stopper for the clutch pedal.
Is that where the switch gows?
That would mean the switch constantly holding the clutch spring force...

The pedal should hold the switch closed, but i've never heard of a stopper and that diagram shows the pedal box assembly from a 1995 RS2 AFAIK (no stopper).
On my CQ the pedal rested against the bracket, my guess is whatever is in that hole doesn't need to be there.
put the switch in with the pedal fully returned so its no taking the spring pressure.
Getting the clutch switch in is a PITA, i got trapped in the footwell with cramp in my back when i did mine
