  • S2 Headlamp Glass

    This is possibly in the wrong forum but hopefully someone will be able to give me the info I need.

    I'm looking for a replacement nearside headlight glass to suit elipsoid headlamps ( if that makes any difference ) as one of the pair I sold has arrived smashed Do Audi still sell them ? does anyone have a part number and possibly know what they cost so I can get one sent to Andy and then try and recover the money from the courier.

    Thanks again and thanks to Uk Mail for managing to smash a light in a box wrapped in Fragile tape, awesome work guys :corey:

    According to the family album - the glass for ellipsoidal S2 lights is still available
    895 941 115 E for the left (UK psgr side)
    895 941 116 E for the right (UK dvr side)

    I'd suggest getting a new gasket as well 895 941 119 B at ~7 quid

    Priced at 50 ish from stealers by my very old data - try Ben (s2avant) for best official prices and lead time.

            As someone who use's the RM every day for sending stuff out - IME NEVER use Fragile Tape as all some peeps do is bash it even more!!!

            If it was RM you used and you didn't insure it all you will get back is £36 or £39 cant remeber which... (10 x first class stamp)

            You will have to make the claim as the sender but You MUST keep all the packaging in case they want to inspect it!!!

            GSF = http://www.gsfcarparts.com/

            Epc I think is this lot But not sure.... = http://www.europerformance.co.uk/

            Cheers

              ECP = Euro Car Parts - a well respected vendor of OEM and aftermarket parts. Branches all over UK too.

                  Thanks for clearing that up, I know of Euro car parts, I have a mate at Audi who I've passed the part numbers onto and he is going to get me a price so hopefully I'll get one quite soon.

                  I usually use Royal mail for everything and only use brown tape but the company I'm doing some work for use Uk Mail Courier Service, I'll see what t heir insurance says but if it involves sending stuff everywhere I'd rather just swallow the cost and have them perfect, their no use to him like they are now !
