Wheel bearings...
I'm fitting new bearings on my RS2.
Hubs and housings have been powdercoated. The hubs are different front and rear and now i don't know what goes were ![]() It's the same bearings front and rear. Longer hubs front or rear? ![]() |

The rear hub has a hole for the handbrake adjustment ![]() |

On the front end,
the two S2 front drive shafts, when stripped of their CVs, are different lengths.
Which one is for which side ? i.e. The longer one is for the driver's side on a RHD car, or is it the shorter one for the driver's side ? Hope this is considered related rather than a hijack. ![]() Thanks to all. |

remember to open the wheel bearings; take the outer seals off, and add some more grease in... and use the MOBIL XHP 222 !!
the only grease who has the clear blue colour....!! THE WHEEL BEARING DOESN'T HAVE MUCH GREASE IN, WHEN NEW....!!!!!!! |
