After a request, I've designed an alloy version of the block coolant pipe ("socket" on the family album) and the test fit of the prototype has gone well so just seeing if there is any interest in them?
These will not fatigue or rust over time and are very solidly made and avoiding a plastic one failing could save a small fortune!
These are hard anodised for corrosion resistance and are nice and beefy. I purchased both a plastic and metal version to ensure that the respective designs are simply bolt-on.
These will be available for ABY/ADU (25mm diameter pipe) and 3B/RR engines (22mm diameter pipe).
Pictures are of the non-anodised prototype for ABY and the OE items.
