cant remember the reg but i think that one isn't too far from me (north east england). if its the same one its lived around newcastle for most of its life and was taken off the road for five years. its a low mileage car in good condition but if its the same one its got a very poor options specification for such a late car.

AUDI S2 Coupe turbo quattro 230 bhp. 1996 (N-reg non-airbag model) In very rare lifestyle colour Cricket green (£1,000 option when new) Has been dry stored on SORN for last 5 years. The car has only 51,000 miles from new, with full VAG history, old MoTs etc. I have owned it since Feb 2001 in which time it has covered just 17,000 miles. Recent major service at a specialist garage which included new MoT, new cambelt, new aux radiator, new Varta battery and two new tyres. The car is in beautiful original condition inside and out, with no modifications to engine or bodywork, drives and smells like a new car. This is one of the two i looked at back in late 2000. It was for sale at Bele Veu in Newcastle for £18k. suprisingly i bought the higher milage one in Stoke on Trent. There was something that didnt feel right about it to me!!!!! A 1996 car with no airbag steering wheel? and yes very poorly spect. Im sure its a perfectly good car but being 6'4" im glad i bought my non sunroof air-con'd car

If anyone is willing to look at the car for me and the seller is willing to show it I'd be happy to offer a fee.

As far as specs go I really love that colour and rhd is very appealing to me. I grew up on right hookers. Anyway the sunroof and interior isn't that bad is it? Well for the year it would have been nice to have driver airbag. How difficult would that be to retrofit?

if i get chance i'll try and have a look for you. i think jason on here has seen the car a while back, if not he certainly knows about it. its from consett or crook area in durham now i think.
great colour and sure the condition will be very good. not sure for that money i'd like to start sourcing mint leather interior, airbag steering wheel, glass sunroof, opening rear windows etc etc.

yep yep.. have lots of OE upgrade parts for it just really curious how plausible it would be to fit a dual airbag setup on it? And just need to get in touch with the fella...will give him a ringa ding at the weekend
