  • Avant / Rs2/ S4 rear tie rod bush

For those that have tried recently to remove a rear tie rod on the B4 / B5 rear subframe will know that the OEM bush corrodes onto the bolt making removal or alignment a serious issue.

Barring medieval witchcraft removal requires cutting out the bolt / tie rod in an impossible location

I saw that :corey: a while ago had made bushes for these tie rods and KDR & VRS ( bambridge and will20v ) can now produce these bushes

Big thanks to Kev for making these and getting them out to me so promptly

Pictures taken from Audisrs thread, I will be putting them in brand new tierods

This takes me up to 3 different sets of Bambridge bushes on my Avant

I have got them via ECP and Bambridge bushes ( grabbed the last set he had on shelf ). Just need to get the bolts.

Since everything on my car seems to be OEM it's going to be a fight I reckon

Are they the same on the B5 as the B4 as well? I can't find any against the B4 at ECP.

B4 Avant and B5 have the same rear subframe, it's why most people on here can't find them because ECP only list them against the B5

I'd need to get kate out to see what the part numbers are, I know I used the s4 ones via quattrocorner for the avant when I started this thread

OK, so I messed with this under the car for half an hour, I can't get it loose

Is this the usual problem, not even getting the inner bolt off to drop the tie rod from the subframe? Perhaps I should get a dremmel
