They was the most powerfull V-dub unit th Mk4 R32 came out as well. There is a Dutch mk1 golf with one of these engines in at the shows I go to. That one is 34 of 71

stock is 1.8, was repaired one 2 years ago, engine was swaped to mk1 golf, rare piston inside block, never seen this before.
