  • Aleko 2141 (Answer to muscle cars)

Ok..here what we have. We had a russian car - Aleko 2141 with stock 1.5l carbutaror engine which has 68 horse powers One year ago - stock 1.5l engine died and we thought it would be good idea to put it in Renault Laguna engine we did it...it have 115 horse powers, what not bad for 1085 kg of weight....We race agains DSM Eclipse 2.0 - and score is 1:1 When we went to the locar drag racing...our car was beated by a Golf II with a passat 2.0 engine we was very disappointed by this and bought for 700 dollars engine from A6 - 2.8 30v ACK Aaaand...we wanted to put it in this winter we will be be very pleased to any information of swaping 2.8 to Audi 80 because space under the hood of my car almost like in b2-b4....
    Small specs...
Lights front - Bmw e36, rims - ATS, interior Opel Vectra A and so on...

Are you sure the gearbox will hold up under the torque? Or are you using Audi gearbox too?

AFAIK the standard IZh/Moskwitch gearbox from witch the 2141 gearbox is based on will not hold much more torque than 115nm the original has to offer.

Yes, really, I will use a transmission from Audi.
At the given stage, at me 115 h.p./5400 rpm 170 / 4250 nm
