As someone who is 4-5 years behind the rest of the forum in terms of discussion about turbo selection I'd like to open this thread for people to chat and learn some new things.

The best part of it is at the top of the page where it says "Copy and Paste to share your match" that code remembers every change you've made.

As it says in the training the beauty is that you can run 2-3 matches at the same time to try and figure out how it all works.
So here is my 1st effort at a match using the EFR6255 Compressor and 64mm turbine with 0.92 AR.
Here's what happens when I try to get high boost at the top end of this turbo. As you can see on the compressor map point #6 can't be achieved.
When I increase the size of the turbo the early high boost is not possible and the requested top end boost is not possible here either
Useful and informative comments would be appreciated. It'd be good to increase the knowledge base on the forum so people can understand why a certain turbo will surge at spool up or fail to deliver at the high end etc.
Once the bases are covered we can look at interesting things like intercooler efficiency etc.
