  • audi 2.8 30v to 2.2 20vt project...

    hy people .

in last 20 days I done one engine swap for my friend.
this audi first was 2.6 , than they do swap to 2.8 30v, after one year that 30v engine fail and kill 5 valves.
owner of car gone mad ,and asked me to put 2.2 20t in A6.
I agreed. I actualy don't know how much job it is..

    but I did it..

    so here was the start:

than I take old engine out in same day..

next day I take all interior out , to get old engine loom out, and prepair it for njew one....

I had one AAN engine loom at hom and put it in car..

but all this colored conectores was not identical with AAN loom , so we sit in friends car , and went to Šibenk (400 km away) to get rest of instalation, and some ozher parts like water hoses, A/C hoses, IC , bl bla bla..

    little rest on Plitvica Lakes

Interesting swap, the wiring looks like a nightmare.

Did you make a set of engine mounts for it?

my friend there was the worst nightmare you ever seen.
and one more thing. when I thing that I was over with wiring , put the dash at place.. start to look the conectors and where is the wires for AIR-BAG ? OMG..

all wires out and whole work one more time..

when I start the engine MAF was wrong, and before I saw that IC is bad too..

tomorow all that parts will come , at wensday we go to make exhaust , and finaly the test drive
