Looks good! Think bhp aim is high though with the hx35 turbo but will still be good when completed

Thanks. yes i may be aiming a little high but you never know... 500 would be good tho. Im still unsure of what boost pressure i should run. It will have 3 inch induction pipework with a large intercooler. i was thinking around 2 Bar anyone have any ideas.

What sort of response and power curve etc do you get the HX35 normally?

Nice that some finish this project. Boost lift slowly start from 1bar and see all things on vems like fuel and other things

Im not to sure yet i guess i will have to fabricate a tube or something. i could use a pipe into the side of the block where the turbo oil return goes usally. This car had Air con so the actual turbo oil return feeds directly into the sump.

or i'll just have to remove the rocker cover.

The rocker came with the car when it was purchased and already had the oil filler welded for some reson.

i am unsure the turbo came with the car. The turbo description said Borg Waner. i will get some pics. to be honest i havent really looked at the turbo i just took it off the car when the engine came out.

the turbo is new it was just bolted up to the manifold.

                        i will do some digging...

well im going to have to come up with something else because it not going to have a dry sump... Yet

You could buy another 7a Rocker cover to use for now. No more than £20

Is it Ian's car that he had great issues with getting it running on Vems after the conversion?
