Audi S2 Monoblock caliper brackets

I have 2 different types of rear bracket for sale.
1st is a S2 coupe only 300mm size disc bracket for use with 996352421/422 calipers
2nd is a S2 avant and coupe 330mm size disc bracket for use with 996352421/422 calipers.
both 300mm and 330mm discs that are needed are audi items and are cheap from the dealer. please see pics and pm me for details
brackets are £125 a pair deliverd

Add a few bolts, a hose and a cable and shazzamm

Yes, Will's 996 adaptor is top notch and plug & play. The setup runs the 300x22 S4 disc, same as Paul's (S2Central's) upgrade (before trimming it to 280mm!). The effect of having 996 calipers at the front and rear reduces nose dive considerably - the car squats under heavy braking. The handbrake calipers are R8 / Lambo Gallardo ones.

I got the AP Racing (Brembo) handbrake calipers (new) for £312.00 delivered to me for the pair. Lot cheaper than going to Audi or Lambo!

that's about the same as a decent set of main calipers (used). is there no alternative that does not read Brembo (usually that raises the price a lot)

Bear in mind these prices are new and you can pick up used ones at a lower price. I have looked at several makes such as the Wilwood caliper but come to the conclusion that: -

1. The calipers are used elsewhere on the Audi range
2. The weight of our cars prevents some of the calipers being used as they are for kit cars
3. They fit well and last a life time
4. Lamborghini, Audi, Aston Martin etc. don't choose these calipers for no good reason
5. They look great!

You pay your money and you take your chance. My view is that if we spend time putting on 996 calipers front and rear then the least we can do is put decent handbrake calipers on.
