Carbondesign RS2 lower door trims

These door trims are really becoming a problem. I need to replace two of mine, or at the very least glue in new metal channels and do the best I can with the appearance of the trim. So far I've struggled to find a local fabricator who will make up a couple of channels . . . it's just the sort of small crappy job that none of them want to take on. In fact, one guy offered to do it for A$1,500 . . . that's about £800!!
I'm getting so desperate that I've been looking at furniture drawer runners to see if any might do the job.
Any brilliant ideas gents?!

Why not make some youself? Buy some aluminium plate 1mm thick. Cut to size and make a former with timber. It's very easy to fold and work with. If you were down the road, I'd give you a handNothelle S2 Avant

Next week is now ... I have 3D-printed two parts of the design and glued them together, for testing on a RS2.

Hello, I'm new to the forum. I've been looking for new door trims for my RS2 for a while, like it seems everyone else. I know this thread is old but did aronmatic2 actually finish the design? I found some RS2 trims being sold on eBay and wondered if anyone had bought them yet and could share some feedback: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-RS2-...8AAOSwhIRgKq8PLast edited by Audi_One; 19 February 2021, 15:04.

FYI: Audi tradition has now reproduced all eight lower door moldings for the RS2.
