Its will come without paint. The simple color codes not says everything, so lets the local pint shop do it.

all problems resolved. First prototype installed. Fits perfect. I make the backside of the trim(not showed, but need to be looks nice too). That need a back molding. That is under processing. So all difficult area is nice, now just for cosmetics.

Any news on RS2 moldings? I really really could use a set.

RS2 body is sitting sad and dismantled, ready for a paint job, but I can not move on before molding problem is resolved. Original replacement is not an option due to their rust-riendly design. I do not understand what were Audi thinking when they designed the part...

But an important question, as I'm respraying my 80 Competition, how will the mounting now be?
As it was original mounted or with HD double side tape?

Normally the little tabs sticking off the bottom of the door are the same as an RS2:


But which clips will be used to attach? (does someone has a picture of those clips?)

It's important to know because whether it will be mounted with HD double side tape I will remove those little tabs of the door before respraying it.
