  • .asf video converter?

    Question for the computerweb experienced.

My camera records in a wierd format called .asf which isn't great for youtube as it comes out with a horrible jerky video.

Which converter can i use to convert into .avi or mpeg or something? Preferebly free? Quality doesn't have to be great. Been using a trial version so far which puts massive red letters across the screen

    Cheers!

Try VLC - www.videolan.org - I think it supports ASF

Yes it does, it works fine, but i need to convert it to upload to youtube and it also doesn't keep a proper time count (for some reason it skips about 4 seconds every 10 minutes)

I have looked on the interweb but i just get trial versions and useless 30 second jobbys, was wandering if anyone knew of one that worked.
