coolant light

hay help my s2 aby coolant light keeps coming on. there are no probs with the cooling so i tnink a senser is telling lies. where should i look

IIRC theres a level sensor at the bottom of the expansion tank thats known to give problems, a good clean should sort it

I'd say its likely the MFTS - give it a whack with a long extension bar and a hammer... no seriously.

a multi function temp sensor, it's under the inlet manifold.

Spooky - I've been getting intermittent coolant alarms since last saturday in the snow. Happens on left corners mostly - I think maybe the coolant level sensor is acting up. Temps and water level are fine.
