    My 2.3 10v is showing its age now and i want more power. what engines are available to transplant and roughly how much do they go for?

    Better off getting a complete 3B or Avant at current prices.

              thats another good option,plus it wouldn't be too taxing to turbocharge it at a later date

                Agree with the above, 7a is an easy to do option, I know various people breaking them atm so you could get everything in one go with stuff like a tubular etc.

                    A days work if you know WTF you are doing (and have a decent set of tools, hoist etc)...
