I have a battery gun... It is fantastic. I have air as well, but never bothered to invest in air tools yet - something thats on 'the list' but funds never seem to stretch to.

are we talkin air or battery buzzin... Ive got both, and i find that the air gun is so much more satisfying... I think its the noise, but the battery gun has been so useful when ive got no power supply for the compressor

The big bolt thru the upper wishbone link is a ****** - I was lucky with 17 or 18 mm sockets hammered on and big swing bars with the whole assembly sitting between my legs.

Just got a box of bits from Ben and realised that I forgot to order up new big bolts - oh the shame...

You were lucky with those bolts, i had buy an air powered reciprocating saw to get my fix

Buzz guns are really satisfying, i spent ages fighting with an alternator pulley until i thought of trying the gun. The nut literally flew off and disappeared down the garage, nothing beats having the right tool for the job

I've got a thing for power files... Can be used for so many things including DIY in the house and makes rusty parts shine like new.... Have an urge to go and file something now.....

It's the same effect as a circular saw or an angle grinder, women don't get it.

What is it with 'buzz guns' ?

I have a good one that I normally just use to buzz wheels off - brilliantly fast, efficient and always brings a smile. I also used it last night to buzz off the bolts that hold the rear strut into a B4Q...

What is it about using one of these that makes a man grin so much - or is it just me ?

Dunno if its that 'pitstop style' noise or the sheer speed at which stubborn bolts can be despatched... In fairness I had given them a good clean and soak in WD40 to purge the worst of 17yrs crust away... But it was literally a case of bzzz, bzzz, bzzz, bzzzzzz and they were out.
Working...
