    haha. damn right
Thankfully we've just avoided -31 and settled for a tropical -23 today
Today's the first day my son has complained about being cold. To be fair we were sledging and his face was numb. oops.

    Feels cozy, right?

Urheilua niin, että tuntuu. Koko Suomen kokoisessa katsomossa on paikka jokaiselle.

Note to all unfamiliar with Finnish geography, Kajaani is just below the -31 in the middle of the map, if You choose 16.12. at 20.00...

haha. I asked for that. I do think my fekked stomach ulcer after several weeks freaking out about selling my house and quitting my job might have put me on edge. it's taken me a good week to chill out a bit since I got here

yep, until repo comes along with his car but otherwise, yes that kind of silence and true darkness is something we in this part of the world forgot it existed.

now that's a far pint sir.

On a side note I found what I thought was a slow puncture in one of the 18" tyres I'd fitted new before leaving. The dad in law took it down to the local place to get sorted and they sent him back saying there's a fine 3" crack in the wheel so it's fooked. brilliant. at least I have the 16s with snow tyres to keep me going to summer. I'll need to find a replacement at some pint though. basserd!!!

I wasn't ware there was any serious doubt I'd actually make it. Oh dear. Legend of my driving skills precedes me
Driving skill aside there was some doubt whether or not you could make it without purchasing another coupe and then not surviving when you met your wife

alas no. I saw a silver RS2 in stockholm city centre but kept walking as I doubt it was for sale and doubt my missus would have appreciated me arriving with it

But only until the wolves start their aria...

The deathstar You saw in Stockholm was Globen, an icehockey/event arena.

    Like said, welcome.
Thanks mate. I spent a year in Oulu and experienced some serious nose freezing in February in Rovaniemi (-20 ish) but I've missed the quiet nights and clear skies.
That makes sense about the deathstar. I'm glad it has been put to use after Darth Vader was finished with it

    i loved it.

there is about 20 minutes a night with no noise here i think. if we are lucky and no cars go missing or houses robbed or ********s doing whatever for that matter
Exactly my recollection of Glasgow mate. lying in bed listening to the relaxing sounds of some fukwit full of Buckfast kicking my wing mirrors off or perhaps gazing at the reflection of several million streetlamps reflecting off the low clouds and easyjet planes relaying new strains of venereal disease back and forward to Ibiza... Sucking in lungfulls of industrial fumes and dodging dog ****... ach I miss it
