I bought a replacement radiator and went to fit it this evening and ran into a major problem. I fitted it exactly as you should do or so i thought it should be installed. I checked everything before filling up with water it was all good then upon putting only 0.5litres it pissed out by the bottom rubber mount where it screws into the rad. The stud on the end of the rubber mount screwed through too far and cracked the plastic body. My original rad was all metal. Im thinking now that maybe i can only replace the rad by buying the same as original ?. The mount on the chasis is original should i have replaced that as well? the rad was supplied by europarts
