hi i know about the fault codes ,as i have a scanner with the book plus i know about
s2 central as it has been a handy tool ,over the year s .
i checked for boost leaks this everning and i had 2 small leaks 1 at the isv and the other was on pcv system on the rubber by the bottom of the main rad both where very small .
i m thinking
fuel pressure (as i have a lot of pressure in the fuel tank more than i used to have.)
lamba ( as its a cheapo , should have just got a bosch .or it maybe just havin one cat)
coil pack / pos ( as it seem to be misfire a little )
i wish my vagcom worked
does anyone else have any info

Fault codes are all listed on the S2 Central web site...
If its holding back at 4k RPM its sounds like the old issue of a BOOST LEAK....

fault code 00537
been getting a few codes lately and seem to have got rid of them except this one. 00537. car is holding back and only boosting to 15 psi on a homefries.. car seems to have slight misfire. and popin abit like it not burning all of the fuel.
i had an mot about a month ago and it past . but with only one cat on . the other was f*&ked so i put one bypass pipe . would this cause problem?
i have clean maf with carb cleaner solvent and corrector with electra clean etc..
but i did notice the wire in the maf had a slight kink in it .
i have change:-
spark plugs ( bosch) i noticed coil pack wiring could do with a make over well on the earth anyway.
wgfv ( on of those heavy duty ones)
lamba sensor ( to a universal 3 wire one from the bay .. was running out of money)
i have also just had car fully respray . and when this was done i disconnected the fuel line to the tank . i re fitted new filter etc, but know i seem to have lots of pressure in the fuel tank . well more than before anyway. could it be a fuel pressure problem?
i have got a universal fpr to go on but haven't fitted it yet.
what do you think lads
