You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links

Are these Recaro "Classics"? Reason I ask is they look identical to my drivers seat which has a label with "Classic" on it stitched to the top. I have only the drivers side and would like to source a matching passenger side one but need to know how best to describe my "Wanted" post.
Did you have to do much modding to the bases to fit these?
not really, the drivers side came with a plug and play modded Golf mk.2 Recaro frame. The passenger side is different and had to make some braces for it to fit. But want to change that one for another Golf mk.2 frame later on.
Well there was a thread on recaro subframes on here once and something about Mk3 golfs recaros may fit so I thought I'd give it a try. Bingo they fit. Mine are Mk3 colour concept black leather, I think I'm the only person to do this?
Retrimmed in Alcantara and leather, well that's my plan if I save enough money over the winter and if our lass doesn't have different plans????
