I've had an issue with a series of Behr radiators which have a mnufacturing defect.
I was sent 5 different Behr units, direct from Hella all of which were damaged from the factory. These were the 8MK 376 711 281 units which is the S2 / CQ20v fitment that is sold in ECP / GSF.
All had dented cores where the wrapping machine / person had done it too tight and squeezed the mounting lugs for the A/C which made a mess of the core:
The pic below is of the final one i rejected, it is easily the least damaged unit I recevied, some were so badly damaged that 3 rows of fins were wrecked.... this one would have worked fine for me since I don't have AC but by this stage I wasn't settling for anything other than a perfect unit:

In the end I gave up and changed to the 10v rad 8MK 376 711 271 which does not have the outlet for the aux rad (since I don't run it anyway
)
Behr / Hella did not seem to care much about this issue, so wouldn't be surprised if they have a warehouse full of damaged radiators - they couldn't even be bothered to open the boxes to check for damage like I requested before they sent them out

So if you're buying a new Behr rad, a word of warning, check the rad before you pay for it / take it home.
I'm trying to sort out a forum discount with the supplier I used since they were very helpful and they think they can beat GSF / ECP prices
