Though you should get a bit for next to nothing if you have any stores near you.

The diy lock tools? If so yes

I don't know if the factory aby tool will do a 3b though.

All you need to do is stop it turning.

    Timing Belt DIY

Most people also do the water pump at the same time. Some people also do the front crank seal (proper tools needed). For the tensioner, you just need the pulley ("relay roller"), not the complete assembly. Some people replace the lower crank pulley because abuse by mechanics with impact wrenches cracks the "key".

Here is some general timing belt info (with PNs_ that should give you some hints:

i took mine off 2 days ago with a piece of 2'' box section and a pair of stilsons. I was a bit worried at how easily it came off after looking at the huge bars people have been using. I only used a 1.5ft Tbar with 1'' drive socket.

What Val said, 2" box also works with one side cut out and something to grab it.

Make sure whatever you use has a thick enough wall, 2" box, 5mm wall worked ok for me. Thin stuff just twisted up.

get a strong bar on the crank pulley, crank the car quickly, smash the strong bar on the floor, get a new pulley as the locator will be ripped off then its £30 for a new pulley, plenty cheaper lol
