    things like:

interior trim bits if they are removed carefully and undamaged
carpets are sought after if in good nick
door cards & seats again will sell if they are in good nick
    door seals etc
    rear lights
V6 subframe can be used on 6pd conversions
bumpers front and rear, grill, bonnet, strut brace mounts if you can cut them out, bottom door trims etc etc etc

There are lots of little bits that will sell if they are in good nick and you can be bothered - they don't sell themselves though

Couldn't put that better myself- good advice there Alex.

For reference. Including 250 quid for the scrap shell with bare engine/gearbox and removed wiring loom, I've made well over 1500 quid back from the 1994 V6 Coupe I broke earlier this year and I still have stuff left too go. Bonnet and grill went today for 40 quid, cheap I know but hey it all adds up and it's a big panel out the way!

A few of the price's I got for major parts. Some on here as well as CA and some on eBay.

    Front bumper with grills 200.
    Carpets, 150.
    Lights (all), 150
    Seats/door cards, 120.
Rad with fans, cross member and complete slam, 120.
Rear brakes with new pads and discs, 80.
    Clocks with auto check, 50
Head lining (Platinum) and post trims ect, 100.
Aux gauges with both senders, 80.
    Steering wheel, 50.
    Door seals, 50.
    Wheels with great tyres, 150.

Plus I've sold no end of odds and sods like senders, brackets, fixings ect, up to over 350 on this sort stuff. And to be fair the parts I've mentioned above were all in excellent condition.

The main thing is to take your time and remove stuff carefully to avoid damage. Be paired for it to take six months before your shot of 70% of saleable parts, like I said I still have at least 300 quids worth of stuff left. Plus you get to cheery pick parts for your own car

id say sell complete on ebay, owt above £200 is more than scrap value

failing that, see what parts are selling for from Coupes

you will never see the revenue unless all the cash is put in a pot untill every knob and lump is sold

i ran a breakers for 6 years so know first hand what its like
    as above and spot on.

You will sell the front bumper, lights, 3 spoke steering wheel if it has one and thats about it. Rest will sit there till unfortunately someone has an accident in their car or something breaks on it.

started a topic What's he worth in spares?

    What's he worth in spares?

Hi, the time has come to stop wasting money on fuel and new parts, and finally get rid of my 1995 2.6E coupe in velvet blue (dark).

    The problems I have are:

    Over fuelling
    Knocking CV joint
    knocking TRE's
poor air intake (bogs down at junctions)
    2 barely legal tyres
    slight dent in bonnet

I initially thought about putting him on ebay (as there's still 2 months T&T left), but would it be worth more in spares than the likely sweet FA i'll get for the complete car?
Working...
