Personally I don't think its BMW drivers specifically. Its generally morons that feel they own the road and can't accept that there are cars out there faster. Period

He stayed a car-length in front, in the next lane whilst his mate in the front passenger seat wound down his window, whilst summoning up a gob-full to spit at me. As he leaned forward to let it go (by now we are doing over 80) the first thing that happened was the wind ripping off his Oakleys and the following car flattened them

Had someone cut me off like this in a Mercedes in London. He was in the wrong lane, I just assumed he wanted a race. When he started cutting across me without looking I slammed on the brakes and lent on the horn and then at the next set of lights made sure that he realised that I thought he was a right :corey:

Unfortunately they were plastic gangsters and took offence! So a bit of a chase through London ensued which ended with him telling me that I should "watch out who you're mouthing off to bruv"! My gf wasn't too impressed but the funniest was the passenger in the Merc who looked mortified to be sitting next to the :corey: as he leant across them shouting at me.

Another time I pulled up behind someone (in a mondeo) who was busy demonstrating their lack of understanding for how roundabouts work. It was ~6am and I wanted to get back to bed so I lent on the horn to give him some encouragement. He took offence and jumped out of his car, so I locked the doors and waited for the left lane to clear. He punched the side window a couple of times before I could get around his car. It probably didn't help as I then wound down my window and shouted "******" at him. So he jumped back in his car and pursued me out of town, through one set of red lights and along the main road for a few miles before I think he realised what he was doing and backed off!

So I try not to dwell on pointing out to other road users that they are a :corey: anymore as they only get upset! Just a quick toot and the finger and they'll soon learn or even better just die.

Modern cars are just too easy to drive, so people take liberties with them and get away with it. I've seen modern BMWs driven in a way that would have seen my E30 backwards in a hedge many a time. Most have no idea of the physics bending systems that are saving them time and again and so they take bigger and bigger liberties and become more and more aggressive. A big spike on the steering wheel would soon put an end to idiotic drivers... one way or another!

I'm out on the road all day and it's like anything you get good and bad in all walks of life. Best thing to do if you have a tailgater is make sure you have plenty of space in front of you so at least you can still stop safely. Or you could jump on the brakes and have a nice old claim up, remember if someone goes into the back of you it's their fault. Only do this if you're in the birds car by the way not the S2 obviousley

    Drivers..

Most of these drivers are normal, nice people when out of the car. It isn't the car or drivers fault by far, but a psychological reaction to someone messing with their "space". People tend to lose their manners.

I've had this happen to me a number of times. You feel the rage building up, but then it's time to think rational about it and get home without mashing someones face in. Worth it in the long run..

And then theres the c*nts you want to drag out of the car and whip with a rusty old wire.
