Well Guys,
After all the panic on bits I thought the car would fail on - it sailed through without a hitch. He did say this though!!!! -
1. Wishbone bushes WILL need doing before the next MOT
2. Brake lines WILL need doing before the next MOT
3. Subframe Bushes WILL ..........
4. Exhaust is blowing slightly and WILL .........
5. Rear center seatbelt seems to stick every now and then.
6. Rear light clusters could do with being looked at as they are full of water
7. Emissions are just on the top line so sort that out too.
Now considering I did nothing to the car and it has not had an oil change for 10K miles(I know but the new engine is in soon) I am pleasantly surprised.
AFTER he handed me the certificate I started asking questions, what would cause this and that (right hand pull after complete tracking etc) and he told me to go get the car checked on a jig. Doesn't sound nice or cheap. I think I will follow Mac and get some wood out when I am doing some work and check the lines of the subframes.
Right so it's off to sleep. Just wanted to share that with you as it has just saved me a bit of money -FOR NOW!!!!!!
