    British 10k Run

Posting on behalf of a good friend of mine...
Some people on here might like to donate so thought i'd post it up to help the cause.

Im doing the british10k run around london on the 2nd july for cosmic charity, which is basically the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in St.Marys!
What we do Cosmic supports the children’s and neonatal intensive care units at St Mary’s & Queen Charlotte's Hospital by helping patients and their families, and by enabling our dedicated team of nurses and doctors to treat hundreds of babies and children in intensive care. We go above and beyond what the NHS can't afford purchasing

some of you know why but for the ppl that dont know me this is why, i have a toddler of nearly 2, at xmas last year he was admitted to luton hospital with meningococcal septicaemia (meningitis B), when he got there he had multi organ failure and it wasnt looking good. Through the night he stabilised, but took a turn for the worst the next morning. This is when the Cats team from St.Marys stepped in, they sent a ambulance down for him to tranfere him into the london hosptial. We were told to be ready for the worst, he had already had a relapse and his heart had stopped, so it was a cruicial time and he needed to be moved asap.
at St.Marys he had 247 care, he was never alone through everything he came off the drugs well and fought the infection. Without the team in St.Marys this would have never happened, i owe them everything and this run is just a small way to say thank you and to raise money to save other childrens lives, maybe one of yours. So please sponsor me. Every little helps!!!
