Indicators
Hi guys my work horse has problem it is a Audi 80 TDI when i indicate all the indicators flash
I changed the hazard switch that i did not need as i found out later as the 80 TDI is not like the A4 in that the Hazard switch does not house the relay or is the main feed for all the lamps
I changed the Relay under the dash checked all the connections on the indicators and lights on the front and rear of the car still made no change then all of the sudden the indicators started behaving themselves for about six months untill this morning the fault reappeared i checked all the connections on the rear lights as i found a slight trace of water in the rear cluster area no corroded connections still the same fault then i checked the relay again and played around with it and the indicators started to behave then misbehave changed the relay still no differance i am well confused is there a main earth for the indicator stalk i feel it is earth problem but am open to any suggestions
