Have a 1993 80 TDi Avant in dark green (not emerald, the slightly lighter one) was my runabout recently, now replaced with the other.
This has electric windows, electric sunroof, electric mirrors and central locking. Huge amount of history and bills for previous work. T&T is out at the end of January. 170k miles on the clock.
Has been a very reliable car in my ownership. I changed the oil and air filter with fresh oil when I got it, fitted a set of new pioneer speakers, removed the egr and did 6/7k miles in it.
About 1k ago, it got a slight knock on the suspension, so I replaced a shock, 2 top mounts, a tie rod end and had the tracking done. I have another new matching shock and tie rod end for the other side but it wasn’t needed.
Will have new auxiliary belts fitted. Front seats had a bit of wear so were changed for lower mileage units from the project car, so the interior is tidy.
Doesn’t idle funny or judder. Only bad points are fuel pump top seal seeps a bit after a long drive, I have bought the seal, so may get it done. It’s got a couple bulbs out on the dash (spare set of clocks with bulbs included) Biting point for the clutch is a touch high, other than that it’s sound. Dry inside and no knocks/bangs on the suspension. Bodywork tidy enough to be presentable, but not mint, has a few scratches/couple minor dents.
Will sort some pictures asap.
