As many of you probably know there are currently no solutions to upgrade / replace the bushes at the rack end of the front tie rods, other than new rods which are expensive and loose their firmness very quickly.
Me and Kev (Bambridge) are working on something (well Kev's doing the hardwork lol) that will be an upgrade from standard sloppy rubber and hopefully improve steering response and feel. Rob aka GT500 is working on a bearing insert which will be another option to these bushes which is good news, so hopefully soon there will be no excuse for sporting those tired old tie rod bushes
These will be in Delrin which appears (to me) to be a similar hardness to Shore A 95 poly urethane (Think black Poweflex) - same type as per the rear tie rod inner ends that are now available.
Kev is working on the prototype at present, will hopefully be available soon
Whos interested in a set?
