I'm in as well for a pully it would be for a 3b water pump . Just the pully or with a water pump attached wouldn't really worry me as I could fit either. I was thinking about this recently if the diameter of the water pump pully is reduced could you not just in crease the diameter of the idler pully by haveing a press on ring made and pressed on then the same cam belt could still be used . -
In theory it wouldn't matter if the camshaft pulley was on then moon and the crank on earth, the 1:2 gear ratio remains the same regardless of belt length.
I could also be interested in one fitted to a 3B pump, I have a new spare sat on the shelf if you would like me to take any measurements and I have an old spare you can have for R&D purposes if required
I would also prefer steel.Leave a comment:

I'll confirm this before making a batch. Guess I'll buy a selection of water pumps
The adjustable cam wheels most people use on there motors are aluminum and the cams steel but they are locked with a Woodroof key. It's a good question.
its the same product no difference
I am pretty sure as you are not changing the 1:2 crank shaft to cam shaft ratio it's not going to effect it? I have a citroen water pump on my motor and that has even less teeth. Some one more qualified like JP maybe able to give a better answerLast edited by terrybullwon; 12 January 2015, 09:56.Leave a comment:

If my "imagination" works at this moment using adu wp with any(except adu) i5 20vt cams/sprocket and any belt length(that will tension ok)will get timing half tooth to the left.Because wp sprocket diameter dictates camshaft timing.Not the belt length.Leave a comment:

Dave,Won't you need to also have a GB on the RS2 150 teeth toothed cam belt too?
RS2 = 034109119C = 150 teeth according to the photo

Do you have any details on the right belt to use on a 3B with and ABY head and cam wheel?

What difference of ID/bore will be between aluminum and steel part?

I could be wrong but you may get a problem with dissimilar metal corrosion if you use an alloy pulley on a steel shaft? Obviously anodizing should avoid this, just avoid leaving it bare alloy.
Good to see someone addressing the NLA and extortionate heritage prices.

my rs2 had the 151 version of the belt and it worked fine in combination with the rs2 water pumpLeave a comment:

Is the shaft diameter the same on 3B and ABY/ADU pumps? If so, I'd take one to fit to a 3B pump.Leave a comment:

I'll take one mate. Loose to press on as required would be best for me. I vote for steel if poss
