I'm in as well for a pully it would be for a 3b water pump . Just the pully or with a water pump attached wouldn't really worry me as I could fit either. I was thinking about this recently if the diameter of the water pump pully is reduced could you not just in crease the diameter of the idler pully by haveing a press on ring made and pressed on then the same cam belt could still be used .

In theory it wouldn't matter if the camshaft pulley was on then moon and the crank on earth, the 1:2 gear ratio remains the same regardless of belt length.

I could also be interested in one fitted to a 3B pump, I have a new spare sat on the shelf if you would like me to take any measurements and I have an old spare you can have for R&D purposes if required

    I would also prefer steel.

I'll confirm this before making a batch. Guess I'll buy a selection of water pumps

Good to see someone addressing the NLA and extortionate heritage prices.
The adjustable cam wheels most people use on there motors are aluminum and the cams steel but they are locked with a Woodroof key. It's a good question.

I am pretty sure as you are not changing the 1:2 crank shaft to cam shaft ratio it's not going to effect it? I have a citroen water pump on my motor and that has even less teeth. Some one more qualified like JP maybe able to give a better answer

    Dave,

Do you have any details on the right belt to use on a 3B with and ABY head and cam wheel?

    Cheers

I'll take one mate. Loose to press on as required would be best for me. I vote for steel if poss
