Thanks, what years are 5h1t ?!

I drove a friends A4 and was impressed. That was about 6 years ago, car was maybe a 2008.

I thought it was a good compromise between sporty and everyday useable. I'd have one.

I had a 3.0tdi Touareg for a year and was impressed. My VW mechanic said they were reliable. However, from about 2014 ish they fitted some kind of variable oil pressure controlled by ecu and these are the ones to avoid.

I have a 2013 B8.5 Avant with the 3.0 TDI CDUC engine coupled with S-Tronic box and I love it. Got it mapped by prj 4 years ago and on the rollers it put out 322 hp and 728 Nm. Really great car for alround driving and I haven't had any problems with either the engine or the gearbox.

I'll bet that's nice to drive, it'd be a nice feeling driving something like an RS4/6 but in the real world I'd take what you've got !

I had a B5 S4 with initially a Dahlbäck Racing remap but when I got to meet prj I had him do his work on it too, transformed it to the better. I really miss the old school turbolag in it, you don't really get to feel it in the 3.0 TDI especially coupled with the S-Tronic. But as I've gotten older I really appreciate the smoothness and ease I can drive the diesel.
I really have to get on with my older B2 4000 CS with the 20VT so I can get the old school feel again.
