This way you can keep your existing pedal.
I will go this route to be able to keep my existing original cruise control.

Thanks! I did know that thease 1.9 dbw pedalboxes are rare to find here. But made some search today and did find one for 20 euros. Did buy it and now i have one problem less.

Where have you guys installed your fuel filters ? I want to use s4 2.2 fuel filter, it does not fit in to original place. Was thinking to install it inside of trunk where is this metal plate from where you can get acess to top of the fuel tank. Better ideas i dont have.

The original spot, under the car in the corner by the fuel tank, isn't the most convenient spot...
I see most aftermarket fuel filters fitted on the firewall. I our case above the AC lines might be a good spot.

I dont want fuel filter and any fuel line connections to the exhaust side. Thats why its little complicated. This s4 filter dont fit to original place also.

              Ah, good point.
On the other hand, don't all the versions of our car have the fuel lines on that side coming into the engine bay?
Then they are all on/ over the exhaust going/ connecting to the engine.

They come from exhaust side yes, meaning is that i dont make any connections(what can start leaking to that side. I use one an house from back to the front without connections. All connections i make to driver side, flex fuel, fpr and so on. Maby overkill but i dont want go risk with some leaks.

Hello! So, the car is been in workshop 2 years and no action. Life comes on the way and i discovered that if you work with cars every day then you dont want to spend any free time there.
So i have lost intrest to build it. I have my S3 what i need to build new engine.

So if someone is intrested then the car is for sale. Or maybe you want vr6 swap to your car? I have complete bolt on solution to offer.

Also i have a lot S2 parts, brembo big brake kit, front refurbished control arms and so on.

If any intrest then dm me.

I hope you all will understand my desicions.

I totally understand where you're coming from, I worked as a mechanic from 2005 until 2012 and in that time all I did on my own cars was basic maintenance and give them a bit of a clean.

An old mechanic who I worked with many years ago summed it up really well, in the statement... This job ruins a good hobby.

When I went back to working as a carpenter in 2014 after I was offered a really good job I found myself starting to enjoy working on my own stuff again. I'm just lucky I have two different skill sets.

                          Hey man!

It's good to see you back on the forum. Although it's sad news that you are looking to sell your project!

I hope you are well otherwise.

                          Jase.
