    cured my misfire! v6CQ

    Hello,
picked my car up from a certain place on saturday after commiting to some extensive works,
    well
one thing was the exhaust (custom stainless). at first the boom / reverb was unbearable. now it has quitened down a lot!. main problem is ground clearance due to placement of mid silencer and size of cats.
    also
have had intermittent misfire for a while, was not addressed whilre getting work done. but since binging car back. got dramatically worse. so bad, i drove straight to amd essex. (who recently carried out t/belt and stuff for me), well they replaced spark plugs, found a vacuum hose leak and were not conclusive about head gasket (gulp!), seeing as the thrashig the car had been getting nor was i!. well. after 3 dealer visits and being unable to replace vac adapter/ elbow i made my own adapter, 3/8 down to tiny hose.(thanks to local factor) still misfire, maf eliminated.., still misfire, replaced leads with some from exhausts unlimitied (family friend) and........... no misfire, no hesitation! will pull from idle in 5th.
such a relief, after the amount of work that has been done. now, the car is driving ok. pullling as should. have grond clearance and damper issues still but they are their own problem .
is there a minimum advised ground clearance? at moment centre box is only 3 inches. have scraped on speed bumps and on bumpy lanes.

the leads came in ~ £40, were all a bit long - but work. from gsf would have been £81 or from audi £180
don't know if their are anything better available??
    thanks for reading!
