1.8T 180BHP Engine, AJQ, Removed From 8L A3 quattro, low miles.

After recently digging this out for another member who needs a longitudinal unit as opposed to a transverse engine I've come to the conclusion that this motor can go.

I was vaguely considering making it fit my B3 80Q but have decided to leave that alone as the current 3A 2.0 runs very well and is low mileage with good history.

The engine I have spare was extracted four years ago from a 1999 8L A3 quattro by myself with care... I was the last person to drive the car prior to removal and it ran very well, especially considering it had been stood for five years in a car that was rotting away from around it in someones back garden.

It's covered just under 120K miles and I serviced it a few times for the owner after helping him find the car locally many years ago when it was on 60K miles so I know it's history well.

It hasn't ever been apart so would recommend removing the sump and cleaning out the oil pick up, it would also require a new cambelt before being returned to service.

It's been dry stored under my workbench, with rags blocking of the ports etc, it's dusty but is in good overall condition.

£200 collected from the Brecon area in south Wales.

I also have the engine loom and ECU which I'm happy to sell with it or separately.
