I am selling my Mums Polo as she is getting a newer Polo TDI. Its a 98 1.4 16v with approx 118,000 miles on the clock. Although this is a little high it makes no difference to how the car drives.
It recently had a replacement gearbox fitted as the original one died. While doing this a new clutch and clutch cable were also fitted. This was about 1000 miles ago.
The car passed its MOT a couple of weeks ago so has near as makes no difference a years test on it. I had to replace both front lower arms, front discs and pads and 2 bulbs. It also needed part of the rear sill replacing so the rusty part was cut out and a patch has been welded in. This is visible as it was done on a budget.
The car has a Sony casette player with 6 disc cd changer in the boot. Since my Mum has owned it the car has been very well looked after and has had all required work carried out.
The bodywork is looking a little tatty with a couple of dings here and there and a couple of bumper corners need spraying, and of course the visible repair on the o/s sill.
Now I realise the mileage is a little high which is why i'm not expecting the earth for this car so I am asking for £1350 with 2 months Tax left.
The car is in Epsom in Surrey. KT19 and is available for viewings most evenings. If distance is a problem then I can deliver the car a fair distance for the cost of fuel and a train ticket home.
