High end Kenwood Minidisc player & CD changer

I've had this in various cars over the years and it's been a great piece of kit. Back in 2002 it cost me over £500 for the pair and was the best available.

The MD player is the top of the line KMD-PS971R and has every feature that Kenwood offered back then, including black mask, where the front face retracts into the unit for security and is also removable. It also has 3 separate high voltage (4.5V) pre-outs with fully adjustable low pass filters on the F&R pre-outs and sub control on the third, including a high pass filter, level etc. It can also be linked to the period Kenwood PS amps (which I used to run) to adjust various things.

The CD changer is a standard 6 disc unit and includes mounting brackets and lead.

Both items are boxed with instruction manuals, spec sheets, setup sheets etc. etc.

I replaced the flexi cable that links to the front face on the unit about 2 years ago (this is the know weak point of these, so is sorted).

The only negative part is that the surround piece on the front of the unit has lost 2 of the clips but I have been using it with a little rear light sealant to stick the upper section in place and it works a treat You may be able to get a spare from Kenwood but I've not looked.

I think £100 delivered for the pair is a fair price, based on features but feel free to make me an offer.
