you should have gone higher. My highest bid was another £100 and I thought that was optimistic! Other sets have gone for much more.

price dropped to £300. Really need to sell these as I've just forked out for some 997 C4S calipers

Standard RS2 brackets are for 304mm discs, so you will need caliper spacers if you go any bigger. (these are what I have)

I assume there are such things as genuine "big red" brackets, as the RS2 was sold with 322 discs as an option. (maybe this is what you have if you don't need a caliper spacer)

Anyway I'll say it again, you can fit these calipers with a 315mm A8 disc using 5mm caliper spacers, under Avus wheels with NO wheel spacers.

OK, can we just clarify who is talking what spacer?!

I have RS2 "Big Reds" with NO caliper spacer but 15mm WHEEL spacers. 16" Avus fit over the 323 A8 Disks.

These are RS2 "Small Reds" AKA standard non factory upgraded RS2 brakes. They will be better than the OE ones on your Coupe and the Pads should be cheaper than the "Big Red" pads I have. I am not sure if you will need a radial caliper spacer for 315mm discs, but I don't think you would.

However you may want to hold out for the Big Reds so you can half inch (steal for those non UK folks) my part used discs/pads off me if you are ever short.

Don't forget caliper spacers act on the radius of the disc, not the diameter. So an increase of 10mm of the outside diameter requires 5mm spacers.

These are 993 Carrera calipers, NOT turbo/4S. Out of the factory, these calipers would have been fitted with 304mm discs. Therefore, as a guide, you can use them with discs between 295-315mm.

The 993 turbo and Carrera 4S where fitted with 322mm discs from factory, so these calipers are safe to use with 315-330mm discs.

If you go too big with the disc, you won't be able to make the pads sit within the outside diameter of the disc, and you need to have 100% of the pad surface contacting the disc.

You can fit these calipers with 315mm A8 discs under stock Avus wheels using 5mm spacers. No problem. They are also a straight swap upgrade for RS2 small reds.
