Refer to my thread 'mystery RS2 noise'
I have the cat back system from RS2 excluding Y piece from twin cats. Two pieces middle and rear silencer units.
Replaced as thought to be causing noise via baffle wear. Not the case as noise remains therefore I judge these to be in good condition.
Considering audi will relieve you of £600 for these ideas they may well be a good option
