Wheels getting some tlc, some i had to weld up as the bead around the rim was snapped off in places.

have a vw myselves; but i have cheeeted some; it was org build by vw WITH audi 5 pot and Quattro tecnik; but it stand syncro in the back.....
vw quantum vagon.
2,2liter 10v .016 tranny ,audi 90 rear diff, and now audi 90 20v front end and brakes, with s2 sway bar(26mm)

Now its starting to get intresting.

Got pistons back with dish.

Got them in the engine and put it on the gearbox and put it in the car

Thank god golfs have deep bumpers it hides the snub mount perfectly

Every thing seems to fit apart from the IM will come through the bonnet , i might be able to cut and weld the runners to make it bend dow and keep a standard appearance but overall im very happy now it`s in

looks better and better each time i see this thread and thank you for putting this thread with cool pictures on here excellent ( did you see the video i put a link up for the other day ) just scroll down to the golf and click on videos ..
certainly isnt as nice as yours will be but give you a slight idea of the sort of speed you will be able to go ... although rear engine rear wheel drive..

Yes i`m going to try my best to get the car finished and mapped for gti next year.

i`ll hopefully borrow a trailer and give the gearbox some abuse.

Seen the foreign golf, looks pretty cool.
