Exact size / spec wheels are hard to find... unless you want them to be made of lead or cost 3k+

I know, for certain, whatever fits the front, will fit the rear, but looks better with 10mm spacer added...
Was thinking to buy the ET20 one first and try it on the front, measuring to arch and steering arm...it's so much tighter for clearance at ghe front than the rear...

8.5J fronts ET30
10J rears. ET30 or 35 (not sure)
Front - 235.45 R18
Rear. - 265.35 R18
With new tyres, only 7mm circumference difference...

Enjoyed the underbonnet view photo especially. Cruise-control, carbon trim, heat insulation, fuel lines, turbo brace support. Very good job!
BTW my wheel setup is 225/45 on 9x17 ET32 rims. All is good with clearance including front tie-rod.

I don't think I can get ET32 on the wheels from a standard size (custom adds quite a bit more cost)
I can't remember how much camber I have now, sure it's not that extreme... but do want to have a bit more than standard. I think I had 1 degree or thereabouts...

In fact currently I have ET14 hero fitment, since I fitted RS4 rear hubs, but I will be machining the spacers down to return to ET20.

The rears are fine with an ET 10mm lower than the front...
So the plan is Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.3 (@approx 11.2kg)
I am thinking:
Front 18x8.5J ET30
Rear 18x8.5J ET20
Rubber is 235.40 Federal 595 RS-R (which does come up wide...)
The theory is that, if they touch anywhere it will be the arch, which can be massaged. If it touches the steering arm there is nothing I can do...Last edited by LHD_Kid; 9 April 2019, 17:30.

I would still go with 8.5j, just go easy on the ET. Fundamentsally its the tyre & ET that tends to be the issue with clearance. If you're running RSRs they are wide - a 235 RSR is wider than a 245 Conti SC3. 40 profile then also pushes the shoulder closer to the arch.

Cheers.... I might even go with 8J.
235s fit on 8J ok and gives me a bit more room... I have to clear the calipers with the back face of the spokes and not allowed to run spacers...
Plenty of time to formulate a plan...
