And some more pics, started doing AN6 alu fuel lines that I was gonna use in the original holders but found out its a bit too much hazzle with all the modifications, wondering about just getting some 3d printed holders in rubber/plastic or larger size diameter AN holder and add some rubber around it.

Some pictures from powdercoating of brackets, tiny parts, cleaning etc.
Started taking the engine to pieces, going to have it rebuilt with other rods etc and just general maintenance.

So, it was time for finally painting the underside of the car. Was choosing back and forth between just pure black and the color of the car.
It ended on the color of the car. Mixed up the paint and ready to go.
Was bit hard to take pictures after the paint was fresh, its so reflective and my camera just picked up the shiny parts, and of course after a round of drying it will become more "dull" and a bit less shiny clearcoat. But it still shows approx how it will be it looks quite good in sunshine but in a dark garage the light setting is a bit wrong

Got to grab some more paint and continue on the engine bay, the car will be resprayed later on but cant afford it right now.
After the enginebay has been painted i can start doing some mechanical work, starting to get a bit tired of scuffing and grindin
Going to be good to start laying down some brakelines, fuellines etc

So while waiting for seal/bungs and a friend to come over and spray for me I've decided to start on fixing the cardboard/doors.
Was thinking of changing to alcantera but I think I'll just keep the original leather look. Would propably look better when it's fitted correctly
instead of hanging loose.. Also seems way more easy to fit this since it has the specific holes for the dooropen handle etc..

Going to continue tomorrow, dont have the proper foam or the correct glue to fit it, so just going to clean it all and have it ready until next time.

So, still waiting on some bungs/seals for the chassi so can't really continue under, which delays my paintjob etc.
Decided to add another thin layer of seam sealer around some areas, before starting on something else.
Been grinding the epoxy down, due to the fact I used a lot of flap disc it did show through 2 coats of exoxy coating in the engine bay.
Grind it down then a nother layer of epoxy, grind, then filler, then paint, clear...

The "wavy" parts that looks like "worms" is due to the heavy use of flapdiscs, might have taken a bit too much off but first time doing this so
Wanted to get all the rust away and start from scratch. Maybe it wouldn't turn out so bad, but since I have no time limit on my project I might as well try and do it proper.

Thanks tractor Dave,
Not just Boge or Sachs gentlemen, but specific versions of Boge or Sachs. We need a particular load capacity for durability so that we never have to do this again (which is kinda the whole point), not just the brand name alone.
Lars, I suppose there is magic in this, it happens when one follows the instructions one has been given.
What you need is to go read (see my previous post above). Send your address and they'll arrive next month.
