B2 AAN/01E/5-lug help
Has anyone done a AAN/01E/5-lug swap to a B2 (4kq)?
I'm kinda hitting a wall as some information I had that wasn't correct and now I’m a little stuck.
AAN and 01E (5 speed w/016 machined flanges) are in and rear 5-lug is complete.
I had installed b3 10v 2-piece uprights/bearing housings with 75mm rear 4k bearings and 5kq hubs(shimmed) thinking I could then use CQ cv shafts changing the outer joints to fit the 5kq hubs. I'm finding out now that the outer cv joint that I thought would fit the shaft and the hub is not correct as it will not attach to the CQ shaft. This I now know is only for 4-lug and not 5, (using the stock 4k outer cv), I'm not going back to 4 lug.
So ultimately trying to figure out what cv shaft components are needed to go with what bearing housings to get everything working together.
First, to make sure, is there an outer cv joint that attaches to the CQ shaft and the 5kq hub? (I don't think there is)
So now I'm wondering would b3 20v bearing housings with the 82mm bearings and urs4 hubs work? Or with c4 v6 hubs as I don’t know which offset I would need? I’m thinking this would allow me to use the stock CQ shaft? Will the b3 20v bearing housings fit? If so then what brakes does that make me use?
